Is becoming more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more enticing as the days go by, to the point where i am legitimately excited for it in a way i haven't been since ODST.

Its looking damned fine, sounding damned fine and the soundtrack? I was skeptical about Marty leaving the series, but Neil Davage has done an absolutely FANTASTIC job with the new sound, and in a way i like it more than the original Halo theme.

I am however skeptical as to how the UNSC/Covenant ceasefire is apparently "broken", because i had assumed since Halo 3 there was no Covenant left at all. I'd also like to think that since the UNSC was so demolished by the end of the war that, y'know, they'd focus more on rebuilding rather than trying to pick another fight? I mean its not as though they were winning in the war...unless it follows on from what happens in Glasslands (which i haven't read). I won't say anything about the gameplay, but when have Bungie ever done us wrong? I doubt 343 want to live with the stigma of ruining their baby, so i'm confident they'll deliver. Since i only ever play Team SWAT many of the grievances that many have aired about the changes to the MP don't apply to me, and the SPARTAN Ops sound pretty damned cool.

Either way, this will be a pre-order, my first for Halo <3, and i'll be livid if Blops II manages to steal the spotlight....i thought everyone was tiring of that garbage.
